Do you turn inward and envelope yourself in the pain? what does that do? Sometimes we punish ourselves be reliving the harsh realities we have faced or the cruel injustice handed to us by the ones we loved or sought to help.
Where do you put that betrayal?
Did you know the more you speak about the injustice done against you is the more you cause that injustice to repeat? Yes, beloved...you are putting your heart on trial continually by speaking about that hurt.
I want to challenge you to let it go today. It will come back...but when it does, I want you to call the name "Jesus". Nothing else! Just keep calling His name until the urge to relive the pain goes away. A broken heart can never be healed if at first forgiveness....true forgiveness isn't freely given to both yourself and the perpetrator.
